Edit text files in your website’s document root. Maximum 256 KB per file.
Select a website to browse files.
Direct edits affect your live site. Use Backups before larger changes. Only text files inside the selected site can be opened.

These backups are on the same server. They protect against accidental edits, but are not an off-server disaster recovery copy. Restore is performed through SSH.

Customer logins have access only to their own websites, databases, files and install jobs.
Create a customer first, then select that account when creating a website. Each customer can create up to 3 websites and 5 databases within the server’s overall capacity. Customer logins do not grant SSH access.

WordPress
Websites, blogs, portfolios, and business sites. Official core, verified checksums, a dedicated database, and generated administrator credentials.
Install into a new empty website or its untouched starter page. The installer checks DNS and enables HTTPS first, then builds WordPress in staging before publishing it. No plugins or paid themes are installed. Major WordPress, theme and plugin updates remain your responsibility.

ENCRYPTED CONNECTIONSConnection hostname: server.getvws.com · IMAP: 993 SSL/TLS · SMTP: 465 SSL/TLS or 587 STARTTLS. Use your full email address and mailbox password. Each mailbox has 1 GB storage.

Aliases
Aliases deliver to an existing mailbox in the same account. Postmaster and abuse route to the domain’s first active mailbox unless explicitly configured.
DNS records must be published at your DNS provider. PTR / reverse DNS is set at your server provider. Mailboxes and panel accounts have separate passwords. Disabling a mailbox retains stored mail.
